Our History

ILMED was founded in the early 1900s by a family of wood craftsmen. In the 1960s, the business evolved into the logistics sector, specializing in wooden packaging, which remained the core of the group until the early 1980s.
Since then, ILMED has expanded into a diversified range of activities, including industrial cooling and water treatment, ventilation, environmental protection, and a retail automotive repair network.
The company’s headquarters are located on the very site where, 150 years ago, Alfred Nobel inaugurated his Italian plant for the production of explosives—a strategic location, ideal from both a logistical and industrial perspective.
Today, the story of four generations continues through the commitment of entrepreneurs and employees, who work with passion and professionalism to bring new projects and ambitious programs to life.
